Easy Air Fryer Turkey Burger Recipe
I just love that I only need 5 basic ingredients to make these turkey burgers, and the best part? They’re on the table in about 20 minutes. That’s a total weeknight win in my book—especially when I’m short on time but still want something homemade and satisfying.
Even though they’re super simple, these burgers are seriously delicious just as they are. But if I’m in the mood to mix things up, I like to toss in some dried herbs or spices—paprika, garlic powder, or Italian seasoning are a few of my go-tos. It’s such an easy way to give them a little extra flavor without any extra fuss.

How to Make Air Fryer Turkey Burgers Step by Step

Season the meat: In a medium bowl, combine 1 pound of ground turkey, 1 clove of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of kosher salt, and 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce.

Form the patties: Divide the mixture into 4 and shape each one into a patty that is no thicker than ¾ inch. Spray your air fryer basket lightly with olive oil spray and add the turkey burgers.

Cook the burgers: Cook at 375°F for 10-12 minutes, or until the burgers register 165°F on an instant-read thermometer.

Top with cheese: Add one slice of cheese to the top of each burger and cook for an additional 1 minute, or until the cheese is melted. Serve with your choice of garnishes.
How to Store and Reheat
The turkey burger mix can be kept in the fridge for a day or two before you want to cook it. Leftovers will keep well for 3 days covered in the fridge and can be reheated at 350°F for 4 minutes until warmed through.
Freeze air fryer turkey burger patties in an airtight container or Ziplock bag for up to 3 months. Let thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.

Serving Suggestions
Load these turkey burgers into buns and your favorite burger toppings or serve them in a lettuce wrap for a low-carb option! I love serving them with a side of crispy shoestring fries , or cheesy Parmesan potato wedges , but you can never go wrong with a basic chopped salad . If I’ve got a zucchini lying around, I’ll make a batch of crispy zucchini fries .
