5-Star Review
“Excellent recipe. Simple to make and everyone in the house enjoyed it. Highly recommended.” -Pablo
Bacon Cheese Fries Recipe
Give me all the cheese fries . All of them. There’s just simply nothing better than old-fashioned fries smothered in cheese, crispy bacon, fresh green onion, and ranch! Forget the sour cream and layer on the savory ranch, both in seasoning mix and creamy dressing. Do I have your attention yet?
I love the combo of cheese I picked for this recipe, but feel free to get creative! Pepper jack, American, gruyere, Swiss, fontina, and provolone are all great choices! Try some brown sugar bacon for a sweet and spicy twist.

How to Make Bacon Cheese Fries Step by Step

Cook the fries: Arrange 32 oz (1 package) frozen French fries on a large baking sheet in a single layer. Toss in 1 tbsp of dry ranch seasoning. Add a bit more if desired, and cook the fries according to package instructions.

Top the fries: Remove from the oven and cover in ½ cup of freshly shredded sharp cheddar cheese, ½ cup of freshly shredded mozzarella cheese, ½ cup of crumbled feta cheese, ¼ cup of crumbled cooked bacon, and ¼ cup of sliced green onion. Drizzle with 2 tbsp of ranch dressing.
Broil and Serve: Broil for 3-5 minutes or until cheese is fully melted.

Serve and enjoy: Serve hot with more ranch for dipping.
How to Store
While you technically can save these fries for later, I recommend only making as much as you think you’ll eat in one sitting, since they tend to turn soggy when reheated.

Serving Suggestions
We’ve got plenty of tasty appetizers to serve along with the bacon ranch Fries. I like pairing these with spicy green chile taquitos , or a batch of hearty fried Buffalo wings . For another hearty side, I’ll sometimes prepare Swedish meatballs .
And of course, you can’t forget to add the perfect margarita to the line-up. Gotta wash those cheese fries down with something, after all.
