What could be better than a mix of Oreos, peppermint chips, M&M’s, and pretzels—all coated in creamy white chocolate? This Christmas Bark makes me feel like I’ve stepped into a candy store, with so many of my favorite goodies packed into every bite. It’s one of my go-to holiday recipes: perfect for gifting, sharing at parties, or just enjoying as a festive treat at home.

Easy Christmas Bark Recipe
This white chocolate Christmas bark recipe has become a family favorite over the years. No holiday season goes by without it, and I’m sure your family will love it too! Feel free to use whichever goodies you like or whatever you happen to have on hand.
Sometimes I’ll switch things up and use milk, dark, or semi-sweet chocolate instead of white chocolate, and throw in whatever flavor baking chips I have in the pantry. Any flavor Oreo cookie works well, too, but sometimes I’ll use Biscoff instead. For an extra festive touch, I’ll sprinkle the bark with crushed candy canes, candied nuts , dried cranberries, or even marshmallows.
Ingredients1x2x3x
- ▢ 7 red holiday Oreos 79g, broken into pieces, any variety works
- ▢ 7 cool mint Oreos 79g, broken into pieces
- ▢ 1½ cups stick pretzels 60g
- ▢ ½ cup peppermint baking chips 85g, recommend using the Andes baking chips
- ▢ ½ cup mint M&M’s 85g, divided, any variety works
- ▢ ½ cup peanut M&M’s 85g, divided
- ▢ 1 lb. white chocolate baking bars 454g, Ghirardelli recommended
- ▢ 2 tbsp red and green sprinkles 24g
Instructions
- Cover a large baking sheet with wax paper (I recommend wax paper, but parchment sprayed with nonstick spray will work in a pinch).
- Spread the broken cookies, pretzels, peppermint chips, and about ¾ of the M&M’s onto the baking sheet. 7 red holiday Oreos, 7 cool mint Oreos, 1½ cups stick pretzels, ½ cup mint M&M’s, ½ cup peanut M&M’s, ½ cup peppermint baking chips
- Place the white chocolate in a microwave-safe container and microwave for 1½ minutes on medium power. Stir and then microwave for another minute until melted and smooth. Watch it carefully to make sure it doesn’t burn. 1 lb. white chocolate baking bars
- Pour the melted chocolate over the cookie/candy mixture, spreading with a spatula if needed to coat completely.
- Sprinkle the rest of the M&M’s and red and green sprinkles over the still-wet chocolate. This won’t work if it has hardened. 2 tbsp red and green sprinkles
- Chill the tray of bark until set and firm, about 1 hour. Remove and gently break the bark into small pieces.

How to Make Christmas Bark Step by Step
Prepare a baking pan: Lay a piece of wax paper over a large baking sheet. I prefer wax paper so the bark doesn’t stick, but you can use parchment if you spray it with non-stick spray.
Prepare the bark: Over the top of the baking sheet, lay 7 red holiday Oreos that have been broken into pieces, 7 cool mint Oreos broken into pieces, 1½ cups stick pretzels, ¾ of the M&M’s, and ½ cup peppermint baking chips.
Melt the white chocolate: Place 1 lb. of white chocolate baking bars in a microwave-safe container and microwave for about 1½ minutes on medium power. Stir and continue melting until the chocolate is smooth. Keep an eye on it so it doesn’t burn.
Pour the chocolate over the candy mixture: Pour the melted white chocolate over the cookie and candy mixture, using a spatula to make sure you get even coverage.
Add the remaining M&M’s : Sprinkle the rest of the M&M’s and 2 tbsp red and green sprinkles over the still-wet white chocolate. Make sure the chocolate has not dried, or the M&Ms and sprinkles won’t stick.
Chill : Chill the tray of bark until set and firm. This usually takes me about 1 hour.
Break into bark : Make sure the chocolate has fully set before you start breaking it up. You can use your hands to break off the pieces, or use a butter knife (or another utensil) to help crack pieces.

How to Store
Store leftover Christmas bark in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 weeks. Keep away from excess heat or moisture.
Freeze Christmas bark in single layers separated with wax paper in an airtight container for up to 2 months. Let thaw overnight in the refrigerator or at room temperature.

Serving Suggestions
When the holidays roll around, I love to go all out with seasonal treats. I’ll serve this Christmas bark with a batch of rich and creamy homemade eggnog , along with slow cooker gingerbread lattes for the adults and slow cooker peppermint hot chocolate for the kids.
My festive dessert platter is never complete without a batch of these quintessential Christmas sugar cookies , and no-bake buckeye candy .

This Essential Grocery List is an absolute life saver for my family on the busy weeks. When I started this journey to learn how to cook, I quickly realized that the first step in cooking is having staple ingredients on hand. Having a well-stocked pantry has made my life in the kitchen so much simpler, because when it’s time to cook, I have what I need.

Essential Grocery List
It’s so helpful to have a basic grocery list to help me remember which foods to buy at the store. This food shopping list is my go-to!
It’s better to stock up on things like grains, seasonings and spices, baking essentials, oils, condiments, canned and frozen foods, etc. so I can just grab them when I need them. These things have a long shelf life , so I keep them in my kitchen for convenience.
However, I do have to go to the supermarket sometimes, and there’s a way to make that trip easy and hassle-free: I keep a grocery list! If I go in blindly, I’ll leave with things I don’t need, and nothing that actually helps me prepare a good meal.
In the list below, I’ve compiled everything I always have on my stock-up grocery list.
I’ve got you covered! I created an easy grocery list filled with all of the essentials. Plus there’s a free printable version that you can take with you to the grocery store. It has everything you need to stock your pantry, your freezer, and your refrigerator.
