Bang Bang Sauce is sweet, spicy, and creamy, best known for its use with Bang Bang Shrimp. This popular Bonefish Grill appetizer is irresistible, but you can make the sauce at home with just 3 ingredients. I made a healthier version using yogurt instead of mayo and it was just as delicious!

5-Star Review
“Loved this recipe. It truly does taste like Bang Bang Shrimp sauce but a lot less calories. Thank you. Will definitely make again.” -Mary Anne
Bang Bang Sauce
This Homemade Ban Bang sauce tastes great with more than just shrimp. I like to use this sweet, tangy, spicy, savory sauce with chicken, seafood, vegetables, and more! The best part? There’s just one step in this recipe: mix 3 ingredients together and you’re done! For a few flavor variations, I sometimes add garlic powder or crushed garlic, cayenne pepper, or lemon juice for some acidity.

This sauce is the star of my healthy Bang Bang Shrimp recipe, so that’s a great place to start, or you could make individual Bang Bang Shrimp Bowls if you prefer.
You can use this sauce on all kinds of dishes, including grilled Chicken Breast , pork, or Crab Cakes . It’s a tasty dip for crispy Shoestring Fries and kid-friendly chicken tenders . I like to add it to Mexican Shrimp Tacos and even hearty Poke Bowls for an extra kick. The possibilities are endless!
