Funfetti Cake Batter Dip Recipe
I have to admit…bringing food to parties still makes me a little nervous. Back before I knew how to cook, I’d stress about whether people would actually eat what I brought. Now that I run a food blog, the pressure feels even bigger—like everyone expects something amazing. That’s why I’m always on the lookout for easy, fun recipes that I know will be crowd-pleasers.
This funfetti cake batter dip is exactly the kind of recipe I love bringing to a party. It’s playful, colorful, and always a hit with both kids and adults. I’ve lightened it up just enough so you can feel good about grabbing an extra scoop—and trust me, you’ll want to. It tastes just like classic funfetti cake , and it disappears fast every time I make it!

How to Make Funfetti Dip Step by Step
Combine Cool Whip and yogurt: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the 16 oz. Cool Whip and 2 cups Greek yogurt until smooth.
Add cake mix: Add in the heat-treat cake mix a little at a time until well mixed.
Add milk and sprinkles: Add in ½ cup almond milk and ¼ cup sprinkles. If you find the dip to be too thick, add more milk. You can add less milk if you prefer a stiffer consistency.

How to Store
This cake batter dip can be made up to a day ahead of time. Because it contains dairy, keep it refrigerated until you are ready to serve it. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.

Serving Suggestions
I rimmed the bowl with funfetti sprinkles for a bit of added flare and to make it super festive! I like to dip soft pretzels or pretzel bites , but you can also dip chocolate chip cookies or rich mocha cookies . For a healthier option, dip fresh cut fruit.

I’ve got you covered! I created an easy grocery list filled with all of the essentials. Plus there’s a free printable version that you can take with you to the grocery store. It has everything you need to stock your pantry, your freezer, and your refrigerator.
