With chocolate, coconut, and hazelnut mixed together, it tastes like your favorite chocolate cake. Whether you’re hosting a party or unwinding after a hectic day, my chocolate martini is a must-try!

Chocolate Martini
The ultimate chocolate martini recipe — Frangelico and coconut vodka mixed to create the most amazing dessert drink! I dip the rim in homemade chocolate syrup and roll it into a walnuts-coconut flake mixture for a sweet, textured garnish. This German Chocolate Cake Cocktail is the perfect nightcap.
Ingredients1x2x3x
- ▢ 1 1/2 cups chocolate almond milk
- ▢ 3 ounces coconut vodka (or rum) (2 shots)
- ▢ 3 ounces Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur) optional (2 shots )
- ▢ chocolate syrup chopped walnuts, and shredded coconut for garnish
Instructions
- Pour chocolate almond milk, rum, and Frangelico into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake to combine. 1 1/2 cups chocolate almond milk, 3 ounces coconut vodka (or rum), 3 ounces Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur) optional
- Place walnuts and coconut in a blender or food processor and pulse until fully combined and fine. Set aside. chocolate syrup
- Dip 4 martini glasses into chocolate syrup to rim. Roll into the walnut mixture to create the icing rim.
- Swirl each martini glass with chocolate syrup. Pour cocktail mixture into each martini glass and serve. Enjoy!

How to Make a German Chocolate Cake Martini Step by Step
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker : Add 1/2 cup chocolate almond milk (or regular chocolate milk), 3 ounces coconut vodka/rum (2 shots), and 3 ounces Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur) into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to combine.
Make the walnut-coconut mixture : Combine chopped walnuts and shredded coconut in a blender and pulse into a fine mixture.
Rim the glasses and serve : Dip martini glasses into the chocolate syrup, then into the walnut mixture.
Swirl chocolate syrup into the glasses (that extra chocolate in their really makes it feel like cake!).
Pour the cocktail mixture into the glasses and serve. I’m telling you that these chocolate martinis taste like heaven!

How to Store
This recipe makes 4 servings so don’t expect leftovers. But if you do have some leftover, you can refrigerate the prepared drink for 1-2 days.
If planning ahead and preparing a batch for a party, combine everything and refrigerate. When ready, rim the glasses, pour the drink, and serve.

It’s better to stock up on things like grains, seasonings and spices, baking essentials, oils, condiments, canned and frozen foods, etc. so I can just grab them when I need them. These things have a long shelf life , so I keep them in my kitchen for convenience.
However, I do have to go to the supermarket sometimes, and there’s a way to make that trip easy and hassle-free: I keep a grocery list! If I go in blindly, I’ll leave with things I don’t need, and nothing that actually helps me prepare a good meal.
