What’s in this Green Milk recipe?

All you need to make this fun and festive green drink is 4 ingredients. The vanilla mint flavor is unbeatable, and the kids will love it .

  • Milk: Use your favorite kind of milk. This works with skim, 2%, whole milk, or dairy-free options like almond milk and oat milk .
  • Mint Extract: This adds a cool and refreshing, mint-y flavor.
  • Vanilla Extract: A little bit of vanilla makes this drink extra delicious.
  • Food Coloring: Food coloring is what gives this milk its bright green color!

You can use any combination of these ingredients for a fun drink . Make it green without flavoring, or you can just make mint milk or vanilla milk. Any option works well!

How to Store Vanilla Mint Milk

This green milk with vanilla and mint flavors is best served fresh after mixing. But it will keep in the fridge as long as your milk is good! Give it a shake before serving to refresh the color and flavor.

What to Serve with Leprechaun Milk

  • ▢ 8 ounces cold skim milk or your favorite kind. Also works with Almond Milk
  • ▢ 1 drop Mint Extract
  • ▢ 1/2 teaspoon pure Vanilla Extract
  • ▢ 4 drops green food coloring more or less depending on what color you want

Instructions

  • Stir all of the ingredients together and enjoy! 8 ounces cold skim milk, 1 drop Mint Extract, 1/2 teaspoon pure Vanilla Extract, 4 drops green food coloring
  • For half gallon jug of milk: use approximately 6-8 drops mint extract, 4 teaspoons vanilla extract, and about 10-14 drops green food coloring. Close the cap very tightly and shake to combine. Leave in the fridge for unsuspecting kids or spouses!

Essential Grocery List

It’s so helpful to have a basic grocery list to help me remember which foods to buy at the store. This food shopping list is my go-to!

It’s better to stock up on things like grains, seasonings and spices, baking essentials, oils, condiments, canned and frozen foods, etc. so I can just grab them when I need them. These things have a long shelf life , so I keep them in my kitchen for convenience.

However, I do have to go to the supermarket sometimes, and there’s a way to make that trip easy and hassle-free: I keep a grocery list! If I go in blindly, I’ll leave with things I don’t need, and nothing that actually helps me prepare a good meal.

In the list below, I’ve compiled everything I always have on my stock-up grocery list.
