Grilled Peaches with Ice Cream
Once you start grilling these sweet and sunny stone fruits, you’ll be making them all season long! Grilled peaches make the perfect healthy summer dessert, with ice cream and caramel sauce to add a bit of indulgence. This is a super simple and quick ice cream dessert, with only five ingredients. If you want to watch the calories, serve the grilled peaches on their own.
Ingredients1x2x3x
- ▢ 4 ripe peaches freestone peaches are best but any kind will work
- ▢ 1 tablespoon olive oil 13 grams (or olive oil spray)
- ▢ 16 ounces vanilla bean ice cream 454 grams
- ▢ ¼ cup caramel sauce 80 grams, heated
- ▢ ¼ cup chopped nuts 28 grams, optional
Instructions
- Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits. 4 ripe peaches
- Lightly brush or spray the inside of each peach half with olive oil. 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Place on grill (medium/medium-high heat), cut side down, and grill for approximately 5 minutes. The peaches should be tender and warmed through, but not burnt.
- Top with ice cream, hot caramel sauce, and nuts, if desired. 16 ounces vanilla bean ice cream, ¼ cup chopped nuts, ¼ cup caramel sauce
Equipment
- Kitchen Scale (optional)
Becky’s Tips
- When buying peaches, make sure they are slightly soft, dark yellow, and round.
- Resist the temptation to reposition the peaches once they’re on the grill — good grill marks on peaches are the result of patience (and clean grill grates). The peaches don’t need much cooking–just enough to heat them through.
- Plan on at least one peach half per person, but be prepared for seconds!

How to Make Grilled Peaches and Ice Cream Step by Step

Cut the peaches: Cut 4 ripe peaches in half and remove the pits.
Brush the peaches: Lightly brush or spray the inside of each peach half with olive oil.

Grill the peaches: Place the peaches on a medium/medium-high heat grill, cut side down, and grill for approximately 5 minutes. The peaches should be tender and warmed through, but not burnt.

Top and serve : Top with 16 ounces vanilla bean ice cream, 1/4 cup hot caramel sauce, and 1/4 cup chopped nuts, if desired.
Storage
Store grilled peaches (without ice cream) in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Serving Suggestions
Grilled peaches also make a great side with pork. I suggest skipping the ice cream if you serve the peaches as a side dish, but I promise, I won’t judge! Pair these peaches with crispy breaded pork chops, or a hearty stuffing stuffed pork roast for a delicious seasonal meal!
