5-Star Review
“I absolutely love these. I put mine in the air fryer on 350 for 7 minutes and they are soooo good!!!” -Shera
Baked Cheese Sticks (Ham & Cheese)
I’m always looking for fun twists on family favorites, and these baked cheese sticks are one of my go-to’s. Instead of frying, I bake them, which makes me feel a lot better about serving them to Henry. I fill them with gooey mozzarella and savory ham, and they come out melty, flavorful, and perfectly golden every time. Around here, we’re big mozzarella cheese sticks fans, but I don’t love loading up on fried foods. These really are the best of both worlds—it’s like a ham and cheese sandwich all wrapped up into an easy-to-eat stick. And honestly? I always sneak more than a few bites myself.

How to Make Ham and Mozzarella Cheese Sticks Step by Step

Prepare the cheese sticks: Take the eggroll wrapper and place it in a diamond shape, then lay a slice of ham in the middle with the mozzarella stick in the middle of the ham. Fold the sides of the eggroll wrapper to create an eggroll shape. Transfer to the baking sheet with the seam side down. Repeat with the remaining wrappers.

Bake: Brush each of the cheese sticks with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic salt.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the eggroll wrapper is nicely browned. Remove from the oven, turn them over, and cook on the other side for 4-5 more minutes or until browned.

Freeze leftovers in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight and reheat.
Serving Suggestions
I love serving these ham and mozzarella cheese sticks with a bowl of marinara sauce , but a creamy ranch dip , or this super cheesy crockpot pizza dip would both taste great too! Add a strawberry banana smoothie for a fun and filling after school snack!
