Honey Glazed Chicken Wings Recipe
Chicken Wings with Honey Glaze are incredibly easy to make and packed with bold flavors from honey, soy sauce, and a few spices. Their crispy exterior baked to perfection, combined with a sticky glaze makes chicken wings a crowd pleaser and a finger-licking weeknight dinner. Finish off with a sprinkle of fresh cilantro, and you are all set!

For chicken wings:
- ▢ 2 pounds skin-on chicken wings bone-in
- ▢ 3 egg whites
- ▢ ¼ tsp salt
- ▢ ½ tsp paprika
- ▢ ½ tsp black pepper
For glaze:
- ▢ ½ cup honey
- ▢ ¼ soy sauce
- ▢ 1 inch knob fresh ginger grated
- ▢ 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- ▢ 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ▢ juice of 1 lime
- ▢ 1 tsp ground coriander
- ▢ 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- ▢ 1 tbsp sesame oil
- ▢ 1 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped

- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place an oven-safe cooling rack on top of the baking sheet and spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
- Wash chicken wings, then pat them dry. Place chicken wings on the cooling rack. 2 pounds skin-on chicken wings bone-in
- In a bowl, whisk the egg whites with the salt, black pepper, and paprika until frothy. 3 egg whites, ¼ tsp salt, ½ tsp paprika, ½ tsp black pepper
- Brush egg white mixture over chicken wings on both sides.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes. Flip them halfway through so they bake evenly.
- While they’re baking, prepare the glossy glaze.
- In a saucepan add the honey, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ginger, juice of lime, ground coriander, red pepper flakes, and sesame oil. Mix well. Bring to a boil, then simmer until sauce is reduced and becomes sticky. ½ cup honey, ¼ soy sauce, 1 inch knob fresh ginger grated, 1 tsp red pepper flakes, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, juice of 1 lime, 1 tsp ground coriander, 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Once chicken wings are baked, let them cool for 5 minutes. Add them to a bowl and coat with the glaze.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro. Enjoy! 1 tbsp sesame seeds, 1 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped

How to Make Honey Glazed Chicken Wings Step by Step
Preheat the oven : Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place an oven-safe cooling rack on the baking sheet and spray it with non-stick cooking spray.

Prepare the chicken wings & bake : Wash 2 pounds skin-on chicken wings (bone-in), then pat them dry. Place chicken wings on the cooling rack.

Prepare the eggs and the seasoning : In a bowl, whisk 3 egg whites, ¼ tsp of salt, ½ tsp of paprika, and ½ tsp of black pepper until frothy.

Coat the chicken wings : Brush the egg white mixture onto both sides of the chicken wings.
Bake the wings : Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping them halfway through so they bake evenly.

Make the sticky glaze : In a saucepan add ½ cup honey, ¼ soy sauce, 1 inch knob fresh ginger grated, 1 tsp red pepper flakes, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, juice of 1 lime, 1 tsp ground coriander and 1 tbsp sesame oil. Mix well. Bring to a boil, then simmer until the sauce is reduced and becomes sticky.

Combine the wings & sauce : Once chicken wings are cooked, let them cool for 5 minutes. Transfer them to a bowl and then coat with the glaze.

Top with sesame seeds and cilantro : Sprinkle the wings with 1 tablespoon sesame seeds and 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro and enjoy!
How to Store
Refrigerate leftover chicken wings in an airtight container for 1-3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Reheat in the microwave until warm.
Serving Suggestions
If I’m serving these sweet and spicy chicken wings as an appetizer, my zesty ranch dip or this super flavorful peanut sauce are great accompaniments. If I’m preparing the wings for a weeknight meal, I like to add a fresh and crispy easy cucumber salad with a side of simple steamed rice .

It’s so helpful to have a basic grocery list to help me remember which foods to buy at the store. This food shopping list is my go-to!
It’s better to stock up on things like grains, seasonings and spices, baking essentials, oils, condiments, canned and frozen foods, etc. so I can just grab them when I need them. These things have a long shelf life , so I keep them in my kitchen for convenience.
However, I do have to go to the supermarket sometimes, and there’s a way to make that trip easy and hassle-free: I keep a grocery list! If I go in blindly, I’ll leave with things I don’t need, and nothing that actually helps me prepare a good meal.
