This easy Honey Glazed Chicken recipe owes all of its deliciousness to the sweet and savory sauce! Chicken breasts are dredged in flour to add a little crispiness in the skillet, then coated in a glaze made with orange juice, honey, garlic, soy sauce, and ginger, before being baked in the oven. It’s a simple dish with tons of flavor!

How to Store and Reheat

Store leftover honey glazed chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave in 30-second increments until warmed through.

How to Freeze

Freeze honey glazed chicken breast in an airtight container or Ziplock bag for up to 3 months. Let thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.

Instructions

  • Dredge the chicken breasts in the flour mixture. 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the honey sauce ingredients together and set aside. ½ cup honey, ¼ cup orange juice, ¼ cup rice vinegar, ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 2 teaspoons sesame oil, 3 cloves garlic, 1 (1-inch piece) fresh ginger, ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Heat the oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • Once heated, add in the chicken pieces, and pan fry on each side until browned. Fry in batches if needed to not overcrowd the pan.
  • Add the honey sauce mixture to the skillet and coat the chicken in the sauce.
  • Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through to 165°F.

Essential Grocery List

It’s so helpful to have a basic grocery list to help me remember which foods to buy at the store. This food shopping list is my go-to!

It’s better to stock up on things like grains, seasonings and spices, baking essentials, oils, condiments, canned and frozen foods, etc. so I can just grab them when I need them. These things have a long shelf life , so I keep them in my kitchen for convenience.

However, I do have to go to the supermarket sometimes, and there’s a way to make that trip easy and hassle-free: I keep a grocery list! If I go in blindly, I’ll leave with things I don’t need, and nothing that actually helps me prepare a good meal.

In the list below, I’ve compiled everything I always have on my stock-up grocery list.
