I love glazed ham, but oftentimes, the glazes are a bit too sweet for my tastes. This honey mustard maple glazed ham is perfectly balanced and not too sweet! I mixed honey, pure maple syrup, and Dijon mustard to create a sweet yet tangy glaze that goes so well with savory ham. I love to serve this ham during the holidays!

Whether I am planning my Easter, Christmas, or Thanksgiving menu, this delicious honey mustard maple glazed ham always makes an appearance on my table! It’s perfectly sweet, tangy, and caramelized all over. With just 5 simple ingredients, this ham is as easy to make as it is to eat!
What’s in This Honey Mustard Maple Glazed Ham?
- Ham: I used a bone-in, spiral-cut half ham. Mine was smoked, but uncured will also work well. I do not recommend choosing an already glazed or seasoned ham, since it will take away from the glaze we are making.
- Honey: Adds floral sweetness to the glaze that balances the tanginess of the mustard.
- Maple Syrup: Adds a nutty sweetness to the glaze.
- Dijon Mustard: Adds tanginess and balances out the sweetness of the honey and maple syrup.
- Brown Sugar: Helps caramelize the ham as it cooks.

Tips for Success
- This glaze can be used on any size or type of ham. If you have extra glaze leftover you can store it covered in the fridge, for up to a week. It also makes a great dipping sauce!
- When slicing a half ham like this one, you can cut around the center bone in a circular motion to free as many slices as possible. Then you can cut them again into your desired size.
- Ham bones make excellent soups! I love them in this ham and bean soup !
- My general rule of thumb is that ham needs to be baked for about 15 minutes per pound at 275°F. If you have an instant-read thermometer, it should register at a minimum of 145°F.
How to Store and Reheat
Store leftover honey mustard maple glazed ham in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Enjoy cold or gently reheat slices covered with foil in a 275°F oven until warmed through. The leftovers are delicious and a great addition to your favorite breakfast recipe, sandwich, or soup.

Serving Suggestions
This honey mustard maple glazed ham is a perfect centerpiece for any feast. I like to serve it with fondant potatoes , glazed carrots , and creamy pea salad . And don’t forget some fluffy homemade crescent rolls !
