Pomegranate Martini (Love Potion #9)
This Triple Berry Martini blends Chambord (black raspberry liqueur), strawberry vodka, and pomegranate juice for the vibrant purple hue. The strawberry hearts and smoky effect from dry ice add an elegant touch to this delicious drink. Martinis are completely safe to enjoy once the dry ice fully dissolves or you can skip the dry ice and still can enjoy this incredible drink!
Tips For Beginners
Putting dry ice in cocktails is a great way to make them extra cold. Once the dry ice has dissolved, it is okay to drink. Find tips on handling dry ice for cocktails.
- You cannot drink dry ice. Make sure it has fully dissolved before sipping. It takes about 5-10 minutes for a small piece to dissolve. Do not ingest the cubes.
- Dry ice is extremely cold! Touching it briefly won’t be a problem, but prolonged contact can cause frostbite. Just use tongs or something to drop the ice into the glasses instead of using your bare hands.
Ingredients1x2x3x
- ▢ 1 cup pomegranate juice
- ▢ 3 ounces strawberry vodka (I love Pearl Strawberry Basil Vodka)

- ▢ 2 small chunks dry ice* (optional)
- ▢ 2 strawberries cut into hearts for garnish (optional)

- In a cocktail shaker, combine the pomegranate juice, vodka, and Chambord. Shake to combine. 1 cup pomegranate juice, 3 ounces strawberry vodka, 3 ounces Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur
- Place 1 chunk dry ice into the bottom of each glass. 2 small chunks dry ice*
- Pour the martini over a very small piece of dry ice.
- Garnish with skewered strawberry hearts if desired. Pretty cute :) 2 strawberries
- Wait 5-10 minutes for the dry ice to dissolve (and enjoy the fun show!) before drinking.

How to Make Love Potion (Pomegranate Martini) Step by Step
Combine the fruity cocktails : In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 cup of pomegranate juice, 3 ounces strawberry vodka and 3 ounces of Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur. Shake to combine.
Add dry ice carefully : Place 1 chunk (out of 2 chunks) dry ice into the bottom of each glass.
Pour martini in glasses and serve : Pour the martini into the glass (directly over the dry ice). Garnish the glasses with the little strawberry hearts!
Now sit back and enjoy the show! Be sure to wait a good 5-10 minutes before consuming the drink. The dry ice needs to dissolve completely.

How to Store
You can refrigerate any leftovers for 1-3 days.
It’s also a wonderful make-ahead cocktail recipe. All you have to do is combine everything in a pitcher and refrigerate. When ready, pour in glasses with ice cubes.
