I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Independence Day than with an adorable and portable Mason Jar Salad. This 4th of July Salad with strawberries, blueberries, and feta is a fun way to celebrate summer while staying healthy.

Easy Mason Jar Salad Recipe
When someone (who is clearly a genius) came up with mason jar salads, I bet they were pretty pleased with themselves. Portable, adorable, and delicious—I think I’m in love! This fun and festive 4th of July salad is the perfect appetizer for your celebration!
This method for making salads is so fun, easy, and endlessly adaptable. So start with your favorite dressing ( ranch is calling my name!), stack up your favorite toppings (fresh veggies, grilled chicken , cheese, candied nuts ), and enjoy!
Ingredients1x2x3x
- ▢ 4 tbsp poppy seed dressing store-bought or homemade
- ▢ 1 cup chopped strawberries
- ▢ ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
- ▢ ½ cup blueberries
- ▢ 2 cups spring mix lettuce
Instructions
- To assemble your mason jars, start by pouring in 2 tbsp of poppy seed dressing into each jar. Top with ½ cup strawberries, ¼ cup feta, ¼ cup blueberries, and finally 1 cup lettuce. Repeat with the second mason jar. 4 tbsp poppy seed dressing, 1 cup chopped strawberries, ½ cup crumbled feta cheese, ½ cup blueberries, 2 cups spring mix lettuce
- To eat, shake vigorously and enjoy straight from the jar or poured into a bowl.

How to Make Mason Jar Salad Step by Step

How to Store
Store leftover mason jar salad in the original (unshaken) jar in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Shake well before enjoying.

Serve this fun and festive 4th of July salad at your BBQ alongside classics, like grilled hot dogs or juicy grilled burgers . This Essential Grocery List is an absolute life saver for my family on the busy weeks. When I started this journey to learn how to cook, I quickly realized that the first step in cooking is having staple ingredients on hand. Essential Grocery List
It’s so helpful to have a basic grocery list to help me remember which foods to buy at the store. This food shopping list is my go-to!
It’s better to stock up on things like grains, seasonings and spices, baking essentials, oils, condiments, canned and frozen foods, etc. so I can just grab them when I need them. These things have a long shelf life , so I keep them in my kitchen for convenience.
However, I do have to go to the supermarket sometimes, and there’s a way to make that trip easy and hassle-free: I keep a grocery list! If I go in blindly, I’ll leave with things I don’t need, and nothing that actually helps me prepare a good meal.
