As the days grow chillier, I can’t wait to celebrate fall with this sweet and creamy pumpkin spice white Russian cocktail! My twist on a classic white Russian features pumpkin spice creamer for a subtle autumn flavor. Garnished with a graham cracker rim, it’s the perfect dessert drink. It’s a smooth cocktail that’s easy to make and even easier to sip on.

I love how easy this pumpkin white Russian is to make with bar standards like vodka and Kahlúa. There’s no need to make a special trip to the liquor store for a fancy liqueur you’ll only use once. Instead, I reached into my fridge for pumpkin spice creamer, a fall staple at my house.

What’s in This Pumpkin Spice White Russian Cocktail?

  • Vodka: Try to use a good quality or middle-of-the-road vodka. A good rule of thumb is that your cocktails will only ever be as good as your liquor!
  • Pumpkin Spice Creamer: Any brand works! You can use a plant-based creamer as well, most stores have plenty of options.
  • Kahlúa : This rum-based liqueur adds a subtle coffee flavor that’s so good! Any kind of coffee liqueur will work here, though.
  • Graham Cracker Rim: I made this delicious sweet rim with crushed graham crackers, granulated sugar, and pumpkin pie spice . It’s totally optional, but I highly recommend it!

Tips for Success

  • To rim the glasses, dip them in water first. Then, dip them in a mixture of graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice.
  • Don’t fret about enjoying this drink as a nightcap. 1.5 oz of Kahlua has approximately 5 mg of caffeine. For comparison, your average cup of coffee has about 200 mg of caffeine.
